Freight Broker License

The freight broker license for Durham Transportation Services, Inc. was granted in 1994 under MC #270347. This allows us to engage in the operation of transportation arrangement of general commodities (except household goods) in interstate or foreign commerce. Although the bulk of our business is between points in the United States, we also are experienced in import and export outside our borders.

Our experience in transportation goes far beyond what is outlined in our authority. We have been responsible for handling all the transportation logistics for a manufacturer with multiple facilities. Included in our duties was the import of raw materials by ship and the transporting from the port to the manufacturer's factories. We also arranged all the outbound shipments to the customer's vendors.
